Artist Statement
I engage in multidisciplinary studies in arts and engineering to explore fashion through
photography, film, design, styling, and technology. I contemplate whether photographers view clothing as mere props, and I unravel the threads to reveal the tales that these garments yearn to share. To study fashion, I deconstruct its components and explore color, texture, and silhouette through design and styling. I observe the artistry, the fabric’s quality, and the responses they elicit. Through the language of fashion, I strive to examine function, form, and ultimately, the essence of fashion.
Biography
I use my left brain to study electronics, computer science and finance. I use my right brain to study visual arts and fashion. Somewhere in the middle, I find my passion to pursue a new skill every six months.
